Billing & Pricing

BadgerCache provides no surprises, usage-based pricing with a monthly cap for heavy users.

With usage within the free tier, there will be no charges (recurring or otherwise). However, a payment method must be setup to create a store. Prices are set in USD. The account is invoiced every 30 days and automatically charged based on usage of that period.

The monthly cap helps heavy users stay within their budget and prevent surprise bills when usage spikes. Transitioning between the price tiers is automatic.

¹ Up to 15,100 jobs ($375 max). Priced .025 USD per job. 1 job = $0.025 cents. Unlimited thereafter.
² Up to 101 GB ($100 max). Priced .000000001 cents USD per byte. Unlimited thereafter.

Job

A job is defined as a single attempt to recache a key. Regardless if the job succeeds or fails, it counts as a job.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is counted as the size of the data (in bytes) being cached by a successful job. We do not count bandwidth of the request to the data source in this number. The average customer will likely stay within the free tier for bandwidth.

Current Usage

The account owner can see the current usage stats from the billing page when they log into their account. Otherwise, the usage stats per store are available from the store dashboard.

Subscription

You can manage your subscription to BadgerCache from the billing page. There you can view invoices, change payment methods, and cancel your subscription.

Cancelation Policy

You can cancel your BadgerCache subscription anytime from the billing page. Your account will be canceled at the end of the billing period. Whatever usage charges are incured before the end of the usage period will be on your final invoice. Once your account is canceled, you will no longer have access to your stores. You have 30 days to reinstate your account after it's officially canceled or your store data will be deleted.

Changing Account Owners

Account ownership changes require an email to support@badgerstack.com. Please inquire and we will guide you through the steps to migrate the account from one owner to another. Note: the inquiry must come from the original owner of the account or if it's a single store, an administrator on that store. Otherwise, the new owner will need to restablish a new account and setup there stores again.
